    When I try to copy a .bin file to my SD card it says: 'The Media is Write Protected'. What can I do?

    you might have the lock on your sd card, its a physical switch on the card

    I've tries it with the switch both up and down, and it STILL doesn't work!

    Stick it in your Wii and try to copy one of your current saves to your SD card (like you're backing it up). Does it allow you to do that?

    Maybe you can try using another SD card. The manual says some SD cards might not work with Wii

    FYI, PNY and Kodak cards work just fine. Both 1 and 2gb versions.

    I also herd rumors of a 4gb card working wit h the wii, a NON-HC one, but I couldn't get one to test it out.

    I have a 512mb toshiba and it works perfectly.
