    I sat in line for 12 hours i was the 3 person there. the people in front of me had there 360 with guitar hero and gears of war so i wasn't to Bord waiting . i missed work to get it. my boss ask me where i was because i forgot to call in and tell him.( my first time standing in line for a release) i told him i was stuck in line at wal-mart for 12 hours to get a wii. the look on his face was worth it lol.
    it was pretty cool. every one there was nice and we could walk around and not worry about losing are spot in line so we could go get something to eat or go to the bathroom.
    wish i would of taking a char or something i sat on a palette of salt most of the time

    I waited a couple hours at walmart for the midnight release, but they only had 29 Wii's (I was the 30th).

    So then I went out again at 3am, scouting out some places, and finally decided on a super Target. Parked, started waiting at 4am, was only #17 or so and I got my placeholder ticket at 7am, so I just went and slept in my car for an hour, then went in Target (when they finally opened) and bought it.

    I got up at 3:00 AM and went to Best Buy. I was the 79th person in line, but luckily they had 102 wiis. I sat around talking to some people about last gen games until 8:00 when they made us get into a strait line. (the line had wrapped around the building) There was one person who had gotten drunk and passed out on the side of the building. An ambulance and 2 police cars pulled up. he didn't wake up until they broke open the smelling salts. Next he took a ride to prison in the back of the car since he was about 17 years old. the 103rd person in line was very excited at this point. Once we got our vouchers (after the manager had told everybody we could not leave the line) 2 people got out of line to get breakfast, but they got their vouchers taken away. Now the 104th and 105th people were now very happy. At 9:00 we finally entered the store. The line slowly snaked around the isles. At 9:28 I got my wii!!!:)

    Manager at a local Wal-Mart said there would be a stock of 60+ that night, there was less than 30, and there was already a waiting list filled up.

    Went to a Super Target and waited until 7am, missed work in the process, it was one hell of a cold night, boring as hell, why can't consoles come out during moderately acceptable weather, I hate the bitter cold.

    I am never doing that again, preorder only from now on.

    uhh not very long (if this counts) got it next day (nov 20) on e-bay for $580 came with classic controller and zelda. :)

    I had it reserved and zelda reserved so i didn't have to wait in line and got mine without much trouble

    I wish i would of gotten Zelda the first chance i got. I had to wait for a week in a half to get it. I got red steel first because of the sword fighting and its a FPS.

    well, i am a super lazy person, so i told my friend, who decided to wait really early in the morning, to call me when the line was about 10-15 person long, when he arrive at target, 3 am, he called me and told me the line is moving really quick and that it was already over 10 people, so i rushed my ass out of bed and went there, it turned out, there was only 4 people there, including my friend, and then the line didnt start picking up until 5 am, i tired selling my voucher for the wii, while i was in line, for 50 dollars, lame, no one bought it, but i guess people regret they didnt buy it from me, since i got it the second week it came out and people hella wanted the wii

    I got it the first day it came out from waiting 12 hours at Target with my girlfriend at the time... not much more to the story!

    I had mine preordered at GameCrazy, I waited in line outside of GameCrazy for them to open at 10AM November 19th. Was second in line, but first to walk out of GameCrazy with my Wii..

    But didn't get to play it until that Night at 10PM because I had to work.

    I just got mine this weekend (4/27/08) as a gift from my family for graduating with my degree in Social Work and Psychotherapy. My Wii made it was worth the six years it took me to get my degree.
