maheffe:Any thoughts as to why Super Mario galaxy does not save your mario's when you leave the game?

Dont get me wrong i appreciate the princess giving me 5 marios in her letter everytime i return to my game.....in fact i think mail toad is quite happy to see me (if you know what i mean)......

It's a kind gesture for a chick in prison however......

The only complaint i have about the game besides swimming underwater is after i save the game and come back to it - the number of guys i had are now gone - everytime.....

its like some hitchcock twigh-light zone movie jacking with my mind when you have 15 marios stored up and come back to my save - POOF they're all magically GONE!

yah that happens in super mario 64, and sunshine
