Well, it's out - basically it's just a frame that you attach you wii-mote and nun-chuck to, and it makes games like Ghost Squad and RE: Umbrella Chronicles more fun. The biggest complaint I've heard from people is that the trigger isn't spring loaded... however as far as practicality and ingenuity goes I think this is a pretty nifty piece of plastic.

Its a nice little accessory for the wii. Its better than those wii sports attachment's. I got it day after black Friday and played links crossbow training game almost non stop. It takes a bit to get use to it but after you do its pretty nice. I tried to play the game with out it and its not the same. I also tried the wii play game with it. the balloon shooting game is better with it. The wii zapper dose seem to make it a lot more fun. The trigger isn't spring lode but it dose not affect the game play. The wii mote fits nice and snug in it and the trigger on the zapper is pushed on the B button so there's not much play on it. I don't think it would be any better with a spring. the only 2 complaint i have with it is the Zelda game that came with it there's not very many options in the game. other than that its a basic and vary fun game to play. and there's no place to put your wrest strap you have to wrap it around the blaster or take it off witch isn't vary safe to do. lol

if you take the strap out you can always put it back in when you get done using the zapper

Sorry but the Zapper is a major disappointment. You can't access any of the Wiimote's top buttons while using it and, although it has a "mode" for it, Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 is unplayable with the Zapper. You can't pick up weapons or throw grenades.

It does make aiming easier - but why couldn't Nintendo just make a NEW controller with the Wiimote's guts in the form of a gun that gave you access to all of the buttons?

well most games that use a gun are less interactive and use less buttons. they should of made the games more like those except you control the person yourself and you just walk over the items to pick them up i think that would of been better .if they did put the wii mote in side of the zapper they would had to put the nun chuck in it to so if you add all that together. it would be a pretty pricey controller. on top of that you can add the controllers you already have. so it would be cheaper in the long run for Nintendo and you. it is buggy and the functionality of it kind of stinks. but hay you didn't have to spend a arm and a lag for it to find out. if they make games that use the control skeam more effectively i think it could be a descent accessory but that's my 2 1/2 cents

I accidentally bought a 5th nunchuck, and had already torn the packaging open. So my Wii Zapper has a nunchuck wrapped neatly inside it at all times lol.

The only use I've found for the Wii Zapper is as a second player in RE: Umbrella Chronicles. I set the game up for two players, use the zapper in my left hand (it seems to help make that hand a little more steady, since I'm normally right handed) with something automatic and play with my right hand normally.

Other than that, it's been fairly useless for me.

I have found a problem with the wii zapper. MY girl friend and i was playing Zelda crossbow training and iv got that crappy nyko recharge station. The battery cover that comes with it doesn't fit in the zapper vary good and it doesn't click down all the way. I was getting in to the game and throw my arms back and the wii mote went flying back and smack me in the face LOL. The wrest strap was tide to the blaster, there was no damage to my face but i did have a head ache for a bit.( hahahaha oooooooo my face oooooo)

oh and the wiimote is fine i toke the battery cover off and it fits fine now.lol

I have the TOSA charging base. I love it. (It glows blue to match the Wiis glow, but only if you turn it on) I have never had a problem with its covers not connecting to anything.

(I just hate that it is exclusive to Wal-Mart)

I have it and its pretty good for me (only used it twice for Cross-Bow Training ) lol but other then that its pretty good ;) its still in the plastic it came with in the box xD

Btw: its impossible to use it for Resident Evil 4 sadly no way to use the zapper with re4 controls heh

I have the zapper and is fine for cross-bow kind of games. But not good for Call of Duty. I prefer the blaster for COD or MOH since it can be de-assemble for granades throwing and car driving.
