Wii General: Is there any Wii Savegame Manager?

    My Question: Is there any Wii SaveGame Manager except the WiiSaver from the Main Site?

    As i couldn't find any, i made a little Wii Savegame Manager myself, because i didn't feel comfortable with the WiiSaver. You can find 2 Screenshots as attachments.

    Let me know if anyone is interested in my app (if not i will use it for personal use only and wil not make it public), or if perhaps someone is willing to help me with this. (I need people making some cool themes and creating icons, as i think it is not possible to extract the icons from the savegames).

    You can as well point my attention to a already available Savegame manager, so i don't have to write this app :-)

    Very interesting. Would you mind sending it to sepr@wiisave.com for me to take a look at it?

    We could give the program access to specific info in the database (like the location of the game image, game codes, etc.).

    wow thats a nice little app you got there. dose it work on linux. if so id like to give it a try.
    and if not i would still like to give it a try on my mac.

    I will make some updates in the program later and will mail it to you, kronok!

    The proggy is a windows tool, so it will only run under windows.... if you want to use it on another os, you have to use wine, or any similar virtualization tool...

    It's great, but Firefox seems to have disappeared at the moment.

    Thats a shame, his program showed much potential, if their was a way to combine his program with the wiisave save manager we would have the best utility available.

    Hi, wasn't here for a while... currently i stopped working with my little proggy, because i had a lot of other things to do, but maybe i can do some coding soon and release a beta of it, so people can test it. I already did some improvements like import of data.bin files, etc... but first i need a way to connect the app to wiisave.com for the latest gamecodes... otherwise the programm will not recognize the newest games.

    Btw: there is no need to combine it with a other tool, cause my savegame manager is also able to copy the games from/to SD-Card

    One small update...

    My tool is now able to import Wii SaveGames in both the "data.bin" format as well as the PowerSave Format "*.wii". It will then convert the File on the fly into a data.bin file.

    I'm not quite sure if this is legal, i have to check that first before i can release my tool.

    the only part that may be illegal is the conversion from .wii to data.bin. As Datel doesnt want their files to be converted unless you have the powersaves program.

    Please don't talk about needing keys, or keygens for programs. That is Illegal. ESPECIALLY when you know there is a developer of PowerSaves (FNG) that visits our board.

    Can we not possibly have the manager hosted somewhere? say rapidshare or something... if not.. please please someone if you could see your way clear to pming me with the proffie.

    Or how bout making it opensource and whacking it onto sourceforge?

    Just a thought.
