i am new to doing this and have foolowed what faqs says but sd card won,t play saves says gota play game first and anyone tell me where i,am foing wrong or if i need to download anything thanx

Remember that a downloaded save can only be used in conjunction with the game; it is not the game, itself. You have to own the game in order to use one the saves here.

When using a downloaded save from this site (or any other), one the save is correctly copied onto your SD card (using the correct file structure, which is VERY important) you copy the save from your SD card into the Wii memory and then play the game normally (that is, put the game you want to play into the Wii or start it up from the virtual console memory the same way you would any other time). If you already have a game save for that game in the Wii Memory, you will have to erase it in order to copy another one over.

Rather that the game reading your regular save, it will now read the save you copied over from your SD card.
