Save Help: I see the game in my SD card but cant transfer

    Hi everyone. I have a modified Japanese Wii console. I had no problems with the save games I have downloaded in this wonderful website. However, it is only now that I cannot transfer the Resident Evil Umbrella to my console. When I pu6t my SD in into the console, I can see it under the tab SD. However, I cannot transfer it to the console. By the way, the Resident Evil Umbrella that I got has Japanese wordings but the narration is English. Can anyone help me please? Thanks!

    Do you already have an RE:UC save on the Wii? You can only have one save per game in the Wii Memory at any given time, so if you already have one, you won't be able to put another one on there.

    Hi Thanks for the response.

    No, I made sure there is no other RE:UC save game in the wii console itself before transferring. Can't seem to figure it out.....

    O.k, good start!

    Have you made sure that you downloaded the correct region save for your game (Japan = J will be the last letter of the save)?

    Is the possible that the game is a modified version of the Japanese game, and therefore not responsive to either US or Japan saves that don't match the modification?

    oh no...there is no available save game with J ending. Is that the reason why I can see the game save in the SD TAB but cannot transfer or cannot be seen in the Console memory TAB? Would you know where I can get save game with J ending? Sorry for the numerous questions.

    ive got a big problem:( basicly i download the game and everything thing and put it onto an micro sd card ( i have a normaly sd card which the micro sd card fits in) and when i go to wii setting then software and sd card it isnt there help me please i realy want to play these games:(

    Unfortunately, you'll need a J save to play.

    You can try requesting a Japanese save on the request thread, or you can try GameFaqs.com to see if there are any saved there that you might be able to use.

    amar1000, these aren't the full games; these are game saves, which means that you have to already own the game to play them.

    hi there, i recently purchased a jap modded wii too, and i was wondering if an SD game save for my US game can be transferred onto my jap wii. I have Mario Strikers Charged (US version) but I cannot seem to transfer the game save which appears on my SD card to my Wii. Is there any workaround to this region compatibility issue? Any way to transfer US saves for my US games on my jap Wii?
