So....do I need to convert the EFW save format to something in order for WII to read/copy it?

Where'd you find an EFW file? Is it on WiiSave?

I believe an EFW file is either an exe, rar or zip file that was renamed to .efw by an anti-virus program because it may be infected. I don't recommend trying to run it.

Kronk You are right about the anti-virus changing it to the .efw file extension.
It typically applies to e-mail virus scanner on the e-mail server and the scanner found malicious code in it and renamed it to .efw

If i was you i would NOT open it and delete it.

But If you want to risk it and open it or run it and run the possibility of DESTROYING your computer just change the file extension to .zip or .exe So it would look like this (name of file.efw to name of file.zip or exe)
