Wii General: Question about save data manipulation

    Hey board,
    Here is my question: Say I have the save for Super Paper Mario. The save is under the name "L0cke" and I want to change that name to something else. Is there a program that allows you to manipulate the data in Wii saves? Thanks for the assistance (if you can offer any) and I'll start putting up my save files shortly.

    From what I understand, if you change even the slightest thing in the data.bin on your computer, it wont work. The Wii that originates the save seems to put some kind of encryption in it and if it finds that something is changed, it just wont work.

    There's a program called the game save parser that will decompile the data.bin and let you view the information, but it wont recompile it back to a data.bin for use on your Wii.

    That program seems kind of cool but it would be nice if it could finish the job. Anyway, thanks for the response!
