As a loyal customer of Datel, I am a little ticked that everyone who uses the new MK WII save is going to have the same friend code, thus not being able to play online. I graciously ask you to fix this problem.

Sorry.... I do my best to keep Nintendo happy, and that's anoter reason I put a disclaimer in the save description. (I didn't approve the saves that were stolen and posted here, so the disclaimer isn't on those.)

are you making a new save where you don't connect to the internet?

I thought about it, but no.

    1. This save allows Nintendo to easily moderate the false times and keep cheaters off of WFC.
    2. If I did it would just get stolen and posted here.

So even for Powersave customers you won't make a new save? This kind of sucks I bought your product for SSBB and MKWII...

FNG, why is there no Mii outfit B for your save file?

    patz - I didn't unlock Mii outfit B.

jpk32092 - I made a save unlocking tracks, circuits, characters, bikes, and cars.... that's a functional save. I'm not obligated to make a save that allows you to cheat the online community. Datel has always tried to avoid releasing codes, or saves, that allow people to cheat online.... I believe Nintendo would consider it to be cheating by using a Power Save online that unlocked karts and characters.

come on though, I don't have the time to unlock all of the characters and I want to play online. i was supporting your case about not uploading your saves on this website, but since this powersaves program is a rip off i dont care anymore.

That's weird that u left only Mii outfit B unlocking and I also don't know if there's any reason not to unlock it.

  1.

If I understand it correctly, in order to unlock Mii outfit B, you have to complete all thirty-two time trials. Thus far I have been unable to do so. Any chance of a new save?

"Sorry.... I do my best to keep Nintendo happy,"

you should be more worried about keeping your CUSTOMERS happy, they pay you, Nintendo doesn't.

Guys just shut up. You should be happy that he even made a powersave for Mario Kart Wii with almost everything unlocked. He could have just kept the save to himself but he didn't.

Also how can you only have time to play online and not to unlock things? If you don't have time to play the whole track then just pause the game and come back later.

He didn't do it for free. If he did, I would even more appreciate.

ALso, it seems like we don't to care about Datel now. Somebody just figured out how to dump save files from Wii, even though the files are uncopieable.

Instead of spending time, here, complaining to FNG (which, incidentally, is like complaining to the ticket taker at a movie theatre about the prices of movies), perhaps you should be spending the time attempting to unlock all the things that you're whining about not having the time to unlock.

You won't be allowed to use something that is essentially cheating in the online community. That's that. Build and bridge and get over it.

im going to have to agree with Duchess on that.

oh and he dose have to keep nintendo happy. im prety sure that if he made the save with all that stuff nintendo would shut him down for the fact that thay could consder it cheating...FNG is proble saveing your wii from being banned. then you would be whining about that. witch is more serious you geting banned or you have to do a little work to unlock something?

I'm not complaining about online thing because I don't play online. The only thing I concern is the save file didn't unlock everything as it said. This is false advertisement.

Think about it, if someone want everything unlocked so they went buy Powersave. But it didn't give what they want and they already waste money on Powersave.

Datel is doing a lot of false advertisemnt lately. Look at Mii Manager packaging, they have Mii wearing other shirts, hats, etc. I almost bought it because I though it could give my mii some cool costumes. Luckily, I read review before I made a decision.

Another thing is Wii Freeloader, it doesn't run every import games, but they didn't tell customers about this. They should have specified that it's not working 100% and list the compatibility list on their website. What if I bought it and it didn't work on my import games, then I would be already wasting money.

  2.

PLEASE!!! My WiFi doesn't work for MK now... PLEASE!!! I beg of you!

I'm not complaining about online thing because I don't play online. The only thing I concern is the save file didn't unlock everything as it said. This is false advertisement.

Everything regarding playability was unlocked for the game in question. The costumes do not affect gameplay (you don't get more points, a faster car, etc. for having a different outfit on). However, at some point, there may be an update for this. FNG said he didn't unlock it, not that there would never be a save where it was unlocked.

Think about it, if someone want everything unlocked so they went buy Powersave. But it didn't give what they want and they already waste money on Powersave.

That would have been their fault for purchasing the product before researching it. A company is NOT responsible for making sure that a consumer knows everything about a product before they purchase it. That's the consumer's job. If they don't want to take the time to research it, then they get what they deserve with the product isn't what they wanted.

Datel is doing a lot of false advertisemnt lately. Look at Mii Manager packaging, they have Mii wearing other shirts, hats, etc. I almost bought it because I though it could give my mii some cool costumes. Luckily, I read review before I made a decision.

I have the Mii Manager and I'm able to mess with the look of the Mii while it's on my computer, but that doesn't change the look of the Mii on the Wii, itself. So what they show on the packaging is possible, just not on the Wii, which you discovered when you read up about the product as a consumer should.

Another thing is Wii Freeloader, it doesn't run every import games, but they didn't tell customers about this. They should have specified that it's not working 100% and list the compatibility list on their website. What if I bought it and it didn't work on my import games, then I would be already wasting money.

I looked this up and read 2 (yes, just 2) of the reviews and learned of 2 games that were not supported. Being an intelligent person, this leads me to believe that there would be games that aren't supported ('yet' is possible, but I don't know for sure). I would then do some further research (or even e-mail the company customer service and ask for a list) to find out whether the games I was interested in are supported or not.

I'm looking at the specification list and it does NOT say that you can play any GAME, it states that you can play any REGION of game (it doesn't specify what game or games). Granted, this is one of those things that companies do in order to make you THINK that it means any game, but that isn't what they said and it's YOUR fault if you don't read carefully enough, not theirs.

I'll be the first to admit that I HATE it when companies pull crap like that, but don't go claiming they're false advertising because you didn't read their material closely enough.

If you can't handle that people aren't always going to agree with you and that some people will be able to prove what you have to say as inconsistent and incorrect, then don't post it publicly.

I appreciate your efforts FNG, thanx for sharing your work with the masses, remember, nothing is "yours" when its put on the internet, I should know, a number of my saves are on other sites, but at least I've been credited for them.

but for further reference, a Powersave should have EVERYTHING unlocked before submission as a "100%" save, otherwise you get people bitching about so and so not unlocked.

platinum007:remember, nothing is "yours" when its put on the internet

This is incorrect. Please check your copyright laws. Just because something is put on the internet, that doesn't mean it doesn't still belong to the person it is copyrighted to.

If what you're saying were true, then sites like eBay would not have rules about selling unauthorized copies of media, CafePress would not have rules about selling reproductions of graphical works that aren't yours, and music file sharing wouldn't be illegal, because all of these things are 'on the internet' and therefore royalty free.

platinum007: but for further reference, a Powersave should have EVERYTHING unlocked before submission as a "100%" save, otherwise you get people bitching about so and so not unlocked.

To my knowledge (and correct me if I'm wrong, here), the save was not included on the SD card purchased with the Powersaves product. In order to get the Mario Kart Wii, one has to go to the website to download it.

When on the site, the only official save is listed as follows:

01 All Tracks, Karts , Bikes and Characters.
Every Track, Kart, Bike and Character Unlocked. NOTE: Use online / on Nintendo WFC at your own risk. This is considered a CHEAT save. - Jay "FNG"

Please note that this has NOT been marketed as a 100% save and says NOTHING about having all the costumes unlocked. In fact, NONE of the saves listed as FNG's state anything other than what I stated above.

And it's quite obvious that people are always going to find something to bitch about, especially when they don't bother to pay attention to what they're getting.
