    It's because we merged the database tables between the Vanilla forum system and the RW script that powers the main site. In RW, the dates are stored as a unix timestamp and on the forums they are stored YYYY-MM-DD or some such so when the forums goes to read the RW format it doesn't know what to do so it just spits out Dec 31 etc
